Else, with the recoil option now available, give it some big recoil like in Realistic to offset the firing rate. It'll make the gun less of a aim-pop-pop-dead affair.

I think the ruger is fine... It is one of the two guns that gives me problems (the other being the m79) but i think this weapon balance is the best balance in all the years ive played soldat.  It usually takes 3 hits to kill me unless a pro is the one using it and in that case it takes two but to tell you the truth i wouldnt have it any other way.  I do think its overpowerd but not enough to go crazy over... Things will never be perfect and i think this is as close as we can get short of a delay on the m79 lol just thought id throw that in.

If it is overpowered by even a little bit, it should be tweaked. Increase fireinterval and damage, or then reduce both.

Not much, but a little, to make it fit with the other weapons.

I think it will only be a problem after the M79 problem goes away. Then the ruger will be considred a noob weapon.

The ruger will never be considered a noob weapon to any good player... The ruger is one of the most respectable weapons in soldat.

Yeah but i mean look, its so easy to kill someone with. And it is respectable weapon but as soon as the M79 problem goes away new players will start using the strongest and easiest weapon to use which is the ruger. And even after the ruger problem goes away new players will move on to the next strongest weapon and then the next. Its never going to end. Well it might end. If each weapon is eaqually tough to use and doesnt kill faster than another weapon.

The m79 is not going away... and if it did (which it isnt) they would start bitching about the barret way before they get to the ruger.  But i guess i see what your saying.

I have to disagree. Either it shoots straight or it misses, just like barrett. I'd call Deagles the hardest weapon to master in Soldat if we start to discuss about that. :d

Oh yes... the Deagles are quite difficult to get used to, but if you can tame them, they can counter almost any other weapon (Possible exceptions are pro Ruger or Barrett users) because they have one unique thing about them: 0 bink. ;)

I don't see how a straight line can be homosexual there.

sniper line doesn't help too much, it looks a lot better with the smaller cursor, so i just modded my cursor to be smaller and removed sniper line.

Sniperline sucks. When I use barret without sniperline, I do better than when I try to use it with it. Maybe it's the fact that you think every shot you take with sniperline will be accurate, when it fact some of those shots miss.

True.

With barrett, you don't aim with the cursor. I can not explain how to aim with it, it just happens. ._. I just move mouse to some spot and press the key and BOOM HEADSHOT. Can't explain how to do it.

Yeah, you aim with your Soldat, not your cursor. Lol.
