woot, a quick reply thanks a4yo. So..less white. I'm not usually one for doing things in MS Paint, but after I saved the image as a .gif image to eliminate the first white color I didn't like...is there a way to make it so I don't see the other colors as well? I know I could always go in and erase all the other colors...but i sorta figured that would take time and I have to be out of the house in a half n' hour. Is there a way to convert so that I can choose to eliminate more than just the first layer of white? (Edit..ooo i sorta missed the Maintain's "a" 's center..its still white :( )

I know the Gimp has a color picker, similar to the magic wand but selects all of the same color (example: white)

I'm not sure what you mean but in view you can uncheck the color box.

Noooo, no glow please. That is the worst offense by people using photoshop. They try to think of something to spice it up and they inevitably come up with "Hey, I'll just outer glow...AND inner glow."

Well doing it the way I did. I saved the image first as a bitmap file with a bright green color surrounding the places I wanted transparent. Then after that I went into Irfanview and saved the image as a GIF to save quality rather than use MS Paint's way. It asks if you want to create a transparent color and you get to pick one color you want to choose. If I understand right, the Gimp can allow you to select more than one color to make transparent but I've never opened the program myself.

Hope that helps, ace.
