Why Does Soldat Create This File? [SOLVED]
« on: July 13, 2007, 10:51:13 pm »
Everytime when I load and play a game of Soldat, it creates this file on my hard-drive called "logmemorary.log" or something like that.  I find it annoying and I always delete it and it doesn't affect how my system operates.  It remains deleted for that time until the next time I load Soldat again and play more.  I'm asking does Soldat create this file and is it normal for it to do it?

It is an anti-cheat solution. There is/was a hack which creates it, but if Soldat creates it first, the hack ain't working.

I don't use hacks.  It just appears there everytime I open and load Soldat.  And I find it very annoying that I have to delete it all of the time.

It's deliberately created to prevent a certain program from being used; it takes up 0 K of space, so theres no harm in leaving it there.

I'll just make it a hidden file so I can't see it.  My question is now answered and thanks for your help Clawbug and Chrisgbk.

Oh, can you put [SOLVED] in front of your topic title then?

(Why?).
