Bored of Soldat?

I hate to say this, but has Soldat got more boring? I haven't been able to find a good server in ages; everything is either climb, r/s, or a crazy mod. I personally like Infiltration the most, and if a good server happens to be open once in a long while, it is full of idiots or really bad people. The community has gotten worse, and maps are gettting really weird. Soldat is still fun and a great game, but I just haven't been enjoying it as much. I hope people DON"T agree with me, but the truth, at least for me, is hard to get past.

yeah. and no one has been taking any of these good suggestions seriously, and making them come true. I'm bored too. i might take a break from soldat.

Use your imagination with bots to create different scenarios. You like INF? Put yourself up with 2 other allies and try to defend 10 attackers. Play with all barrets in realistic.

If you really don't care for bots, spend some time creating some sort of Soldat mod or map.

It's understandable to get bored with a game. You'll either have to give it time, or maybe you could make your own server!

Don't just play soldat... I don't play it but for maybe 30 minutes to an hour a day, and thats only with people I know. Play other games to keep you from wearing one thin.

Dude why don't you start modding or scripting. It can be a whole lot of fun. Just playing Soldat s boring. I like making stuff in Soldat. Its much funner inventing stuff.

I've been a Soldat player for nearly 3 years. But like † said, I play other games so that I don't get sick of Soldat. Or just play others when I do get sick of Soldat, then return to Soldat a mounth later.

1. If the suggestions were good, we would certainly take them seriously.

2. Only MM + Beta testers can really make them come true; so it's not a community thing.

Well the problem for me is, I have really not much else to play except "real life." So that's what I've been doing lately. Life. I've basically worn the concept of video games thin. I've gotten to the point where I've attempted making them with some program called Game Maker. That was horid...

Yeah, making maps is kinda fun, especially when making something worth while and getting good feedback from all you forumers.

The big problem with me playing other games is my computer SUCKS. Very bad. I have tried modding and making maps and I am really bad. I do try to take brakes, but I liked it better when I could play soldat all day and never get tired of it.

Have you ever tried Hexer killroy?  Its really really fun.  There have been many days where thats all i did.

Try playing different modes of soldat, like Hexer.

Get into IRC. Auth. join #Soldat.gather. Spectate few gathers, see how people play and act, and jsut do as others do.

I guarantee to you that you won't be bored with soldat again, ever.

1)Mod stuff. meaning like...

The better challenge is good, but what puts me off is having to "earn" a '+' on your name as if they think I'm somekind of noob, and having to use a program that's basically DeviantArt Chat but more HTML-heavy and is full of other Soldat players. *shudders at the thought*
