Hmm i have pondered this for a while i am good with fm minimi but i am better with strey Hmm...... what are youre thoughts on this and which do you preferr and why.

You mean Steyr-aug.

I love the Minimi. Although some noobs may be intised by the 50 round mag, it is certinaly not a noob weapon.

Yes these weapons are both Greatly underused. PPL realy dont use them to there full potential. They are used alot to i think these are the best weapons in game for both short and long range battles.

I voted for Minimi because it's clutch when you're surprised by the 4 newly spawned when you finally get to the flag. Although it has a slower reload time, I like it better as an offensive weapon. Just make sure I have at least 40 shots when moving into enemy territory

Yes but i have higher kill rate with the strey one tie i got four kills off one clip at a spawn....so is it realy better?

I vote steyr because it has the fast loading clip and if you fire in bursts it barely binks at all while minimi is inacurate at long ranges. also close range steyr wins because of high rate of fire.

Minime at the moment is the least used "real" weapon in the clanwar community. By real I have excluded Minigun

. Steyr is not overused but its certainly not underused, I believe the last time I checked my logs, it was 5th behind barret, ruger, m79 and ak. Steyr and deagles are pretty much tied as the 5th most used weapons.

im currently using the steyr as my main machine gun, i like to use weapons that aren't used as much to try and get others to use them.

but not the minigun lol.

Steyr is probably the most effective weapon in clan wars. The only reason its usage is held back is because the autos are morally banned in friendlies. In league games and ES/Gp (harr!) wars morale isn't a problem, so triple autos are common. Minimi isn't as popular due to the long reload.

depends,:

steyr on smaller maps with alot of people

minimi on larger maps with not as many people

Anyway, I voted for the AUG. And if this is supposed to be a poll between the two guns then why is there a "neither" option? I assume people should pick the one they dislike the least if they aren't very fond of either gun.

Ah, but if you rapidly click the mouse button when using the minimi, you can retain the high rate of fire with out the bink. The same goes for the Ak-47.

i chose steyr, cause i usually tend to have more kills with it when i use it rather then wit the minimi.

It would be because a poll asking people which of two guns they prefer is for an audience that has used both to a degree. You're obviously not the intended audience for this poll (though it's a moot point now since the OP went in and added that option).

I prefer Minimi for my auto needs due to its large clip

and range. While the Steyr has a fast reload, it just doesn't seem to do much damage or provide an effective enemy binking, at least for me. Given that autos can be tap-fired too to avoid self binking, I think the larger bullet cache makes the Mimimi superior.
