Slashing With Chainsaw

Is it possible to add a slashing animation to chainsaw? And has anyone done this? :-\

You can modify chainsaw fire to get imitation of moving/slashing but main part of chainsaw doesn't move, only fire.

i think chainsaws are best used when you rev it and push it in front of you into someone and hold it there while continuesly reving it. ouch.
