im serious. how can the almighty god screw up on his first making of humans since they are sinning and disobeying from the start. I do not see how something like that could come out of a divine all powerful beeing.
what is wrong with that question?

One was phrased as a joke and the other as an actual question, poorly worded... but a question.

Yes God made them, its not Gods fault they got tricked, its them just being dumb and falling for it. Also free will comes in here again, even if they were not tricked God would have allowed them to eat of the tree if they chose to do so.

so why were they not warned about the snake or whatever that would try to decieve them, and consequences if they did. (Im not sure they didnt already but I dont think so)
also god must of known there was a high probability they would be tricked into doing it, so why did he get so pissed off and damned all of mankind into the non perfectness of today? it was the snakes fault right?

Looking at a woman with LUST is admiring beauty, stop trying to play semantics. If you've ever had any sexual urges while seeing a woman, than, you committed adultery.

No admiring and lusting are two totally different things... here check this out
Quote
Lust - a passionate or overmastering desire or craving
Quote
Admire - to regard with wonder, pleasure, or approval

I really don't see where you get the simple thought of beauty is lust... you would make a great catholic in the medieval ages though, give you that.

Yes, because they understood the use of the words. If you "admire" a woman's physical form it is LUST.

If people that's not believing in jesus and god are going to hell, how can you sit by and let people who doesent know better go to hell? shouldn't you be trying to save everyone even though you do not HAVE to according the bible? coming forth as a guy who is pushing his religion on everyone would be a small price to pay for saving friends and other people from eternal suffering.

and can you HONESTLY say you havent lusted for anyone this whole time you have lived? no XXX'ing by night?

I looked at this topic a bit late, but couldn't help answering this one (found it on page 2-4 I think...)

Quote
Sorry, I wasnt clear enough. I meant what would happen if the 2 day old baby dies and never had his/her baptism?

There's something in the Bible (don't know where it is, I'm not very Bible literate) that says each man shall be judged by what he knows. If you die at 2, you have no knowledge of right or wrong, and will go to heaven because you didn't know any better. And about the baptism thing, you don't have to be baptized to be a Christian, baptizing is just a public sign, sort of to show everyone that you have accepted Christ. For example, when the thief on the cross accepted him, he wasn't baptized, but Jesus said "I tell you the truth, tonight you will be with me in paradise" (Luke 23: 42-42). The thief obviously hadn't lived a very 'Christian' life, but he accepted him.

so why were they not warned about the snake or whatever that would try to decieve them, and consequences if they did.

He shouldn't have to. He told them not to eat it, they believed Satan instead of him. Not obeying the one command of the person who brought you into paradise, and instead believing the first other person you see when they tell you that God is a liar and wants to keep you down...well, I'd punish them too...
I attend grammar school, last grade, and ignorance is all around me. Well, good for them. Ignorance is bliss.

Well as would I. And if I were adam/eve I would certainly not trust the snake. so the question is, did god create 2 freakin idiots on purpose?
and why do we all have to be punished by this? its not like we had anything to do with it.

Uhh...That's what we're doing? Okay, maybe not me in particular. But I should be and plan to when I'm actually in a position to convince someone.

You have to realize there's a balance, come one too hard with the "REPENT NOW OR YOU"RE ALL GOIN' TO HELL!" spiel doesn't get anyone, more like scares people off. But on the other hand, a "Do whatever you want, we'd rather you didn't but it's the thought that counts" attitude is almost as bad.

*EDIT*

Again, they had the free will to choose. And...I honestly believe that anyone, in the same circumstances with no prior knowledge, would have made the same choice.

*ANOTHER EDIT*

and can you HONESTLY say you havent lusted for anyone this whole time you have lived? no XXX'ing by night?

A: Yes.

B: That's not even an issue; no REAL Christian (or anyone, for that matter...)could ever truthfully claim to be perfect and obey the Bible in every way,'cept for Jesus, obviously. Anyone doing that would be outright lying, and most likely trying to degrade Christians by pretending to be one and then making ridiculous statements Those ''thank god for dead soldiers' ****tards, for example.

No one expects you to be perfect, the Bible just tells you to try and follow God's commands. There's no punishment but your own guilt, and possibly turning others away by being a hypocrite.

my question was mostly regarding those who are not too keen on listening. lets say you have a friend who doesent really care all that much, will you just leave him be and send him a postcard in hell?

now suddenly you are understanding but earlier you said you also would punish them.
if they simply were misguided then why punish billions on billions of people for it

No, I continue to be their friend and tell them if they ever want to see what I see then I will be happy to show them. Aren't you the one against me pushing my beliefs on others?

No way. Not telling someone that you could have is like sending them there yourself.
