Once two Jehova's witnesses came to my house, and I was alone and didn't know what to do. Well, I was in a smartass-mood and when they asked me "have you found God?", I answered:

"Well, I sure ain't, but please come in and look around, he might be anywhere."

AND, I don't hate you, and don't take that too hard, I didn't say that as an offensive comment.

But I gotta admit, that sometimes people from your religion are giving me a hard time.

Well, we can't argue when it's about a matter of opinion.

we sure can as this is about wether people have the choice or don't. In this case, they kind of don't as they are easily influencable. Anything related to religion should be brought to people when they are mature enough, not when they are easily influencable.

heh, no prob. you can tell they are mormons if they have backpacks with only white shirts and black pants and around the age of 18-28. and sometimes they ride bikes.

I did a bit of reading on Ignosticism. It seems like you believe that there is some larger being watching over us, yet you have seen no consistent definition of said being (the word 'God' being meaningless) and therefor remain uncertain of said being's existence until a clear definition is made.

As an Ignosticist, I don't believe there's a higher being. Atheist believe there isn't, I just don't believe there is. There's a difference, though it's a small one. I believe that it is at this time simply impossible to prove whether or not one or more "God"s exist. Therefor, I believe that the whole discussion about Religion and trying to convince eachother that your own beliefs are the right one, is pointless.

So... an ignosticist telling someone to be an ignosticist is pretty ironic. Maybe that's why there are so few of us :p
maybe it's just because people want to believe
