Diffrence betwen public and private servers

well as far as I have noticed the private servers hosted by U13 is really laggy while the U13 public servers are almost lag free. can this really be?

nope I quit soldat because it was so laggy. then the next day I had nothing to do :P so I tried soldat on a public server and noticed there was almost no lag. so I joined a priv server and there I got really sick of the lag.

I played in a private server the other day and it was fine... im not sure if it was a u13 private server or not though...

well I am not sure about this... it may also be because of my conncetion... that it losses packets while I am in the private servers. anyhow.. is there any diffrence in the hosting betwen private and public?

I've noticed I have a higher ping on u13 private servers but it's not really that laggy.

Cappy I am talking about U13 pub and U13 priv. because U13 are currently hosting most of the R/S servers.
