Can't run?

I just got soldat on my computer and every time I double click the icon, it flashes the profile screen and then automatically quits out

First of all, this belongs in the Need Help? Section. 

To help you with your problem, I need to ask you, are you using Windows Vista?  People who use that operating system usually have this problem.

Try running it in a video compatibilty format.  Go to Soldat's setup and the "More" section and check "Video Compatibility".

I tried that and it runs in a window only. it still crashes at full screen

Try the force software option then.  It's located in the same tab as the Video Compatibilty option.

It turns out, that I can only run soldat when it is set to "deticated server"

How do I fix this?

Go to Soldat's configuration and set dedicated server to "0".  You said it'll only run while in a windowed format.  As of now, I see that as your only option.

Now, I can't get it into windowed anymore :/  but when it worked in windowed mode, I still had dedicated on.

Now when you say put dedicated 0,  do you mean uncheck the box, or find an actual value and change it to 0

It's in the configuration, reset the value to 0.  There's nothing to uncheck.

Now I have soldat working, but when I request the server info, it just says "0 servers"
