Soldat "Real Life"

Hello everyone.
 So, "Real Life" could be like this:

Features:
- Register & Login
Register and Login command
- Character informations
Info about your character
- Buy mod (weapons, meal (for hp))
Every weapon / meal costs some money tho.
- Quests (to get some money)
You will get money by doing quests.
- Bank
Bank and withdraw commands, sending money to others is also included.
- Teams
There's unlimited count of teams. Main teams are Cops and normal Workers. Also you will be able to buy team chat.

What do I need to do?
- Im building at that large map - 90%
- I will pay for server (looks like for 30 persons atm) - 100% (DONE)
- Scripts - 0%

- Updating topic (looks I have currently nothing to do)
-  [flamekit] Is anyone ABLE to make those scripts? If yes, PM me PLEASE. I'm sure they are able to be made. Thanks

Is this going to be somesort of RP server? And what is the ping going to be like with that huge map and lots of players?

that would be one of the crappiest semi-MMO RPGs ever.

and climb servers suck pretty bad as well. so just make a decent CTF server.

a-4-year-old > Tell me, whats good for you ? You hate soldat climb, you hate this "Real Life". Tell me, what do you like. This could be really good. Server for a lot of persons. I think, this could be really popular, and not so boring.

I like the idea but I'm not sure how you can get it to work without tons of scripting and an account system. You might as well just play 2nd Life, Alien Adoption Agency, Neopets or EVE (I recommend EVE) rather than trying to make Soldat something it's not.

Im just going to say this is never going to happen and it would suck anyways so maybe you should start thinking about your life and not "SOLDAT REAL LIFE" :D

ask yourself these 5 questions:

1. Do I have the mapping skill that this takes so people won't have their eyes injured when playing it?
2. Do I have the scripting skills to make such an enormous script?
3. Do I have a server that could possibly host this?
4. Do I have the huge load of time required to make this?
5. Will enough of the action focussed Soldat players be interested in playing on it so the project will be actually worth its effort?

I think that can work but I don't think that 1 server is good idea. I think that it will be better to make this as web page. So that means that you will get levels on server but it will be write on page. Work will be another server, killing for levels another. But you will need many servers, maps and scripts.

1. There should be any good person(s), which should make that map.
2. For scripts, i will search persons like you, Avarax.
3. I will pay myself for server. Looks like for 40 persons. (Laggy connectionts = kick / ban)
4. Of course, I will have full month August.
5. I think, this will be very popular.
