I don't mean to be a naysayer, but I hate anime with a passion. Shows are dumb, the style sucks, ect. It is purpusfully not realistic at all in any sense and is always over the top. Just my opinion, feel free to disagree, but you won't change my opinion, many have tried, all have failed.

I didn't used to like anime, but I've slowly grown to like it. My twin bro still turns his nose up at it as if he's somekind of animation connoisseur. I think his main reason for not liking it is that the lip-sink can look cheap and dodgy when it's dubbed.
