I'm a conservative, but...
« on: July 20, 2007, 02:22:09 pm »
...this is just ridiculous.  Yes, the article is coming from what's bound to be a biased source, but the event is still real.

Only anime shows I've felt any interest in over the years are Pokemon (original TV series) and various hentai.
so clearly jgrp is a goddamn anime connoisseur. his opinion might as well be law here.

I DID mention that the site wasn't exactly taking a disinterested approach.  Even so, the new executive order does exist, and is definitely worth worrying about.

Yeah, I've been reading report after report about how Bush is systematically dismantling the constitution and our basic rights while denying anybody the ability to stop him.  Since there isn't anything I can do about it and it just makes me worried, I've decided to ignore the reports at this point.

At this point in Bush's career, I am pretty much like "He's a lame duck and will leave in January 2009, oh well," It is depressing our president A) Has outreagously low approval rating. B) Can't seem to do anything right. I am concervative too, so this saddens me a great deal.

The problem is that he won't admit his mistakes.  With Iraq, he has been heard saying that he went over there because “We need to get Saddam Hussein…that mother f*cker tried to take out my Dad" while he also claims that God told him to do it.

The guy is crazy.

Does anyone remember that it was actually Dave Chappelle who first said “We need to get Saddam Hussein…that mother f*cker tried to take out my Dad" ?

Hahaha.  Life imitating art.

I've got my guns ready for the revolution.  Just say the word.  (The problem here is that I am genuinely afraid of my government right now, though it should be the other way around.  So Feds, if you're spying on me, that was a joke.)

People shouldn't be afraid of their government...

And in case NSA is reading this, I love Bush.

Is it wrong that I'm honestly just so sick of all the drama and idiocy that I've more or less stopped giving a damn about the world around me?

Not really. I feel that way too, although I complain a lot myself. :(
