New bike
« on: July 23, 2007, 01:58:12 pm »
Im deeply think on getting a new bike. the bike i have now is very old and i really need a new one. i mostly ride on the road and sidewalk. now im a little overweight and i dont think a road bike would be good for me(i tried my firends and his tires went down to the rim, mabey they were just flat) then my other option would be a trail bike. i havent tried these out but, what do you guys think is the best type or brand of bike? and what should i get.

My last bike was stolen :( You can't keep a bike in the city, it pretty much is guaranteed to get stolen, at least in Toronto.  So I recommend the cheapest bike you can find so no one will steal it :)

Is the concept of a "lock" foreign to you?

Anyway, I have a Schwinn, and it's worked just fine for several years now.

Only anime shows I've felt any interest in over the years are Pokemon (original TV series) and various hentai.

Yeah mountain bikes are the easiest to ride, and the most durable.

Get an old 2nd hand one really cheaply.

I prefer to ride BMX racing bikes :D I never sit down when I'm riding my bike unless I stop.

Uh...what's the farthest you've ever biked?  It's quite hard to stand the entire time for a ride of any decent length.

get a good seat for whatever bike you get, bmx bikes are especially hard on the ass.

A lock doesn't mean shit.  You could triple lock a bike and it wouldn't slow someone down for more than a minute.
