blood marks
« on: July 23, 2007, 05:36:55 pm »
at the title says, make it something like, if you get shot and you start bleeding, the blood will fall on the ground (or wall if your standing into a wall) and stay there, so when your bleeding and the blood hit the ground, wall etc, etc, the blood will stay on the ground, wall etc, etc, until the round if over. ;D
imo this would be awsome!
F12 or F11? :)

that's a very good idea, but I think it's been suggested before.

Anyway, f12

i don't lioke this, in small maps, after a while you'll just play in a pile of blood...
just seeing blood dripping on and off the player is good, and we have that.

Well, if you read the topic i posted a link for, the blood would fade away after 5-10 seconds.

ehh not worth it IMO...unless....
unless body parts (small pieces of flesh few pixels big) but they would get splashed around in the gun fire and spew out more blood for that extra gruesome effect!
Can't think of anything original to put here...

F12. It would be cool to have some blood spray on the polygon as well, then it could disappear along with the dead body it came from.
I'm gonna have me some fun!

Sounds like a good idea. But is it really needed? Anyhow, f12.

well, maby not untill the map is changed, im not trying to copy the idea, but it could be an option in Soldat.ini for how long you would see the blood, so if somebody want it to stay on the map to the next map (like me) i just set the number high, if somebody want it to stay there for 5 sec of something they can set the number to 5, and if you dont want blood set it to 0

F11, i would vote yes if it would fade away a lot earlier.. Like 2-3 seconds or otherwise it's just one big bloodbath..

, yeah... but read "well, maby not untill the map is changed, im not trying to copy the idea, but it could be an option in Soldat.ini for how long you would see the blood, so if somebody want it to stay on the map to the next map (like me) i just set the number high, if somebody want it to stay there for 5 sec of something they can set the number to 5, and if you dont want blood set it to 0"... then you can choose if you want to see the blood or not, or how long time it should stay there. (so YOU can see it, if i had it on 10 and you on 0, then on MY screen i would see the blood stay there forever (the round) and you would see nothing

F12, just make it start disappearing after the player re-spawn(really slow, thats like disappear in 10 seconds).
