When I talk about entering "the Zone", I know you gentlemen are no strangers to the phenomenon. We play better some days than others, but entering the Zone is different. You feel as if your every motion is purposeful, dynamic, almost choreographed. The structure of the universe appears simple. You find that you are suddenly able to calculate the trajectories of grenades like a physicist. Time bends. The polygons reveal their secrets to you. Every stray bullet hisses across the sky.

It was Kexxar and me versus three others on Nuubia. After 9 caps and 38 kills, the game ended 10 to 1, time started again, and Soldat took a screenshot. What a rush! KER POW, M79'D! KER POW! KER POW! You guys know what I'm talking about, right? Just that once-in-a-great-while feeling that you're unstoppable?

It's pretty hard to do that in r/s. But I have gotten up to like 89-1 once.

That feeling is truly awesome... I love getting into the zone. Every bullet nails enemies in the head, shouts and cries fly out at you and your just king of the server. *sighs* Oh what a feeling.

well whatever zone thing ur talking about is nice, but i dont get that feeling for long periods of times, only like a minute when i go around killing like every one up to alpha's base with barrett and knife, until they "HAXXER!!!" me. and luckly for me i got a demo of it....?still ur score is something not something anyone can get in a day...BTW how long was game?

do you mean the game was 10 min/15min? or u play for 10 min/15min and lie down...:O

Is it possible to enter the zone with an M79?
The only thing true that you mentioned while playing w/ the M79 is that it simplifies everything...

I love when I'm in the 'zone. Sometimes as I'm going for the enemies flag I get a tripe kill along the way but I don't really notice it because I'm too busy trying to get the flag. Once I get killed I look at the kill log and it amazes me.

Oh man do I know the zone. Back when I was Cpl, I'd vouch I had rank 1 for Barrett in [eC] TW [since now I've started anew with Sgt. rank, skirhead's pushed past me]... I remember one day playing defensive in Gloryhill I slid into the Zone, and just about every bullet was a deadly bullet, I moved into new positions as I watched LAWs hit my previous positions futilely...

That's the thing, some people can slide into the Zone easily while others have to hit it by chance.

The Zone = When you're on fire. Anyways...

I was in Fracs CTF pub and this happened...

When I took this screenshot I had eight caps, the cap limit was 10 and I ended up capping after someone from my team capped for the 9th time. I was in the 'zone' I guess. I just went by people and killed them as I went for the flag with ease. So I ended up capping 9 times out of 10.

I was also in the Zone for a bit once in the Snipe n Slice server. No sniper for me; I didn't even kill a person (except one chainsaw dodge and that was by accident). But I ended at least 2 games within 3 minutes each by my outrageously fast caps. Pffft, never happened to me again. Mind you, it wasn't against newbies either.

The Zone is the best feeling ever, but it doesn't last too long. I'm usually in the zone after leaving something like a really hard Deathmatch or R/S game, and I enter a pub CTF game and it's so much easier to kill everyone, you just feel like a god. For some reason everything clicks and you know exactly what moves your enemy will make and what moves you need to counter. It's like time slows down and you're playing against still targets. Where once you were being shot at, now enemies hang in the air and wait to be destroyed, in awe of your power.

Sometimes you face other people in their zone and that's never fun.

yes i have to agree that its a great feeling when you become unstoppable killing machine. Its even strange to when i sometimes barely pass a unknown player, which is getting pwned by others, but sometimes i rush and blow up whole base, full of pro players from respectful clans.

Once i got pissed off (in a nice "*joke*" meaning) my teammates and they were like: "omfg leave something for us"

P.S. All teams on screens were even, well +/-1 player advantage and enemy players left team right on end of round.

I love the Zone. Nothing can stop me. But once i was in the zone in elite saw and law and people got pissed because i had zero deaths and they kicked me off.

Well it was moded a little bit but it was almost same as original weapon mod. And yes i do like spas. It's my main, and only weapon.

When I get warmed up(3-4 hours of playing soldat) I become god him self, I kill and I kill till there is no one left (everyone leaves the server
