Did you have a special moment the day you started playing soldat?I had

I was with my cousin, i joined some server that had ctf_chernobyl..i was basically just picking up guns, and trying them out..eventually i cam to the steyr and i was like:omfg this thing got a cool voice

.And i just started blindly spraying with it and got a double kill

and from that moment i thought i was good and kept on playing :Q.

Not really, when i started i was ok compared to all the other new people got some doubles and triples, had fun

The first time I played was actually pretty nice experience. Of course I expected first to not even have good accuracy and I would get lots of deaths but actually it was reverse.. I got surprisingly many kills and surprisingly few deaths. It was fun to try all weapons and getting used to commands.

I remember playing soldat offline against bots for a about half a year because we still had a 56k modem. When we finally got ADSL about a year after I stopped playing, Soldat came back in my mind and I started playing it again, online this time. I remember how I loved the new things they added, specially infiltration and realistic mode.
*sigh* those good ol' times when good "groundbreaking" stuff was still added.

I remember my first game quite vividly. My friend introduced me to Soldat, and we played on a private server with some of his other friends. It was CTF and we were on B2b. I screwed around with some of the weapons for a while before realizing what a beast the barret was. Soon I was owning up the server, of which I was very proud considering these guys had been playing a few weeks longer than me. Because I thought I was good, I decided to try to keep improving, and here I am still today, over 2 years later. It's sad that my friend quit shortly afterwards though.

He never got to fully experience the game and community.

I played for a week and thought it was pretty damn cool, then for some reason just forgot about it all together. Then I started again a few months later.

God, I still remeber the day I started playing soldat from over 2 years ago. I just went straight online to check the game out (the game look simple enough). I was on Arena, DM match, chose the AK, and did pretty well against some older players. Someguy actully ask how long I've been playing. Boy was he surprized. And so on, so forth.

Just played with bots all the time..when i suddenly discovered the Online part of ther game lewl

I remember it.

I joined a random server with ctf_Ash on and it grew to be my fave map

because when I played that first day...

I got a double kill the second time I used a Spas =D

From then on I just used Spas since it had 2 hit kills.

Then I discovered R/S. I hated it for the unrealistic Spas recoil. I later got used to bursting autos in R/S and Spas in non realistic/survival.

Then, I discovered Zombiematchs and LOVED IT! I never used anything but the socom lol.

Then... Dodgeball. I was in love with it and I almost play nothing but it now.

my first day ever i just grabbed the Steyr cause i thought it looked cool....so long stroy short i went around spraying and ended with like 4 kills lol. Oh well, we all sucked at the beggining

I don't remember my first game. But I do remember playing in some public server and being inspired by Hercule Poirot to use barret... So naturally I started camping in the bushes in B2b and underneath Bravo base in Viet

It was a realistic deathmatch on Krab, vs some guy named Mr. T. Ofcourse everything was rather new and I got devestated, but I've started playing realistic, played it in my first few months and met a lot of nice people.

It wasnt that fun for me from the start, i think i joined a inf server. Didnt know what the hell was going on. For the first few mins i just walked around looking at the groovy graphics. Then i decided that i should start shooting stuff. And so i shot my teammates, over, and over, and over. Got me banned, good times though...but it got kinda boring so i stored soldat away for a while. Then after i had lots of free time (summer vacation) i decided to give soldat another go. Played it for a bit, then i was told there was another version of soldat. For me i was "wha?". But finally i did go to the soldat page and downloaded a new version of soldat. After that I discovered R/S! And that crap has been keeping me here since.

Haha, same thing here.
Played a really lont time with bots, all kinds of styles. I eventually started to love the ruger(note this was normal mode) and sometime later I found the online play. Later, my love for the DE's and knife grew and that were my new choice of weaponry.
Then another while later, I discovered RS, which I really enjoy and now always play. I'm now a multi-weapon guy now and don't focus on just one weapon and it's all good.

That first RS server was Evo's I believe, for anyone who is familiar.
