I don't know what version I fist played in, it might have been 0.9.4

I was at a friends house and he was like "check out this game, it is simple but really sweet and addicting." I didn't install it on my own computer for about 6 months after that, but I remembered the name after he first showed me

I started at 1.2.1..kinda short playing time i know, but i played public for like a month only,and then went to gathers(ouchek introduced me)..first 1-2 months i sucked really badly,but it payed off, i was one of the first guys to get + at gather

I tell when i played in friends: I played bots (we didnt know about multiplayer

) It was that version when there was not secondarys.

In-home: I was played infiltration the map was invasion i remember when i doed my first kill it was minigun

.And i then get kicked.

Normal day. I was just looking around for a few new online games and a friend pointed out Soldat for me.
Downloaded it, tried it, liked it~ You know the drill, but I still don't play in open servers. Just keep to myself.

Well, my friend sent me a link to Soldat over MSN Messenger over February break 2005. I didn't want to play it because I thought it was turn-based. Then, I went over to his house a few days later and it blew my mind. I was just freakin' out the first time I got a mid-air M79 kill. I played all the Inf maps against bots. When I got home, I immedently downloaded it and then I found out there were mods for Soldat. From then on, I've been playing Soldat.

The first time i played was with my friends termite bots... :/
He'd made these bots that just keep saying "termite!" and they only use knives but it was fun for like a year haha. I got really good with all explosive weapons though.
I was obsessed with the game for ages.
I couldn't play online for like a year and a half or 2 cos i had 56k - but i only play online when my freind comes round (I have two computers) and we do teamwork on ctfs

Ive recently got back into it after more than a year of not playing

The first time I played, I actually hated the game. I was always a console type of game-finatic. So my friends just kept telling me to play, and 3 1/2 years later I'm still here. Not playing all that often, but still sticking around.

I remember a few flashes from my first few days....

Hated b2b, too big for a 5v5 game.
Couldn't figure out how to use the LAW and Barret for two weeks (I never use them now, anyway.)
I remember using all the autos in servers...
I remember rushing in yelling "KEKEKEKEKEKEKEKE!" getting two kills and wounding some, then going down in a blaze of glory. (I still do this all the time.)
I remember thinking how l33t bullettime was.
I remember thinking r/s mode was a glitch where you didn't spawn.

*sigh* ah, those were the days....

Ah...the good ol' days...I remember using the Desert Eagles mostly. I'd go around firing Deagle shots all over...missing alot but I thought they were cool since I was actually able to get kills with them sometimes

Back when I first started playing, I switched around weapons ofton, however I mostly used the Deagles. I also had a extreme hate for the Barret...

Now-a-days, I...still use just about all weapons and I now hate the m79 with a passion

Although, Now I really don't care anymore, I just get a sniper and randomly click...Might as well Join in with the other 8 people using it, seeing how nothing will change *shrugs*

Makes me feel bad later when I snipe the hell outta people

I played with bots for months..before I discovered there was an option to play in multiplayer (:O). I don't remember much. I think it was 1.1.3 and I used barret, just like everyone else did. Got used to the game pretty fast. I met with Happy Camper in the game and joined the clan he was in - BE(Body Eaters). And then I just joined different clans and at the same time improved, joined the forum, started going to irc etc. Now I play more R/S than normal.

So I continue to play with during one year, with bougie man like my only friend, and then went on internet's servers!

I cant really remember but i do have old screenshots from when i was randomly pushing buttons. My name when i first started was xXInTheZoneXx (yeah right). I thought i was really good. I never knew about computer games much so i didnt know you could play on online servers, nor did i know it was bad to play on a server with 1987 ping. I remember playing with bots and getting my ass kicked.

I remember playing on a map and hearing someone say "InTheZone is finally in the zone...". I felt like kicking his ass.

I remember the first time i saw a guy named yourself and laughing so hard the first time i killed him. I also remember seeing a guy named Mr. Fluffykins...heh.

And i remember how much i loved rambo and how much i loathe it now.

Everyone loves thinking they own when theyre new.

The first time i played soldat was on a public server... I saw some bots and when they killed me they said: You're one ugly mother... well you know the rest. I didn't know they were bots at that time so i swore back and it was funny.

I don't remember my first match too well... I do remember using the minigun, however.

What a noob I was! I got the hang of moving fast across the terrain rather quickly, however, and now I'm a decent player.
