Score the flag.

-As you can see you need 2 alpha and 2 bravo flags. Soldat only allows 1 of each.
-The teleports (4 of them) take over 800 polygons together.

This map works like this:
1. both teams pick up their flags and drop down.
2. At the main arena, theyll try to kill the enemy's flag carrier.
3. When one of the flag carriers gets killed, the team touches the flag and makes it spawn in the scoring area! (or back at the enemy spawn point)
4. If the team gets lucky with the flag appearing in the scoring area, then they will rush to score.

In case a flag that is needed for scoring is in the wrong place, the team will need to go to return it to the other suitable location by just touching it.

As far as I know, that's the only way to make a teleporter, -Skykanden-. You don't need 400 polygons for one, tho'... 100 would be fine already.

Some random experimentation with Paint's curved-line tool. I think it could be a good DM map:

So its about 100-200 polygons per teleport. The more polygons, the further the soldat will warp. Simple as that. You can take the teleport as a prefab from my Ctf_omegav2 in my ERA mappack.

Also, the teleports can be avoided by making low jet fuel and impossible gaps so that players cant get up anymore.

What is the Sub Gamemode called?
Are you for real?

"Score the flag" is the first sentence of that post, and it's at the top of the picture...

Two Maps I can't make
« Reply #26 on: July 06, 2007, 10:12:58 am »
I lack the skill to actually make these maps, but i spent a great deal of time designing them. If someone has any ideas for either of them, or if they want to make either map, you have my full permission and approval, if you just give me credit for designing the map.

... I can see it fine. I don't know any reason why you wouldn't be able to see it.

4 Year old, I'll make those 2 maps of yours. :P They seem pretty good. A lot better than most of the sketches I go with :P

Boots, to tell you the truth, That diagram is shi-tay. So you want a big hill with some bunkers and a beach, Kay, i'll see what i can do. and after this complete disaster of a map is done, you can laugh at me.
(i'll pm you a screenshot XD)

@^ Wow, just wow. The amount of time you must of spen on that first design is amazing. but impracticle, it's is simpily
Too big The required players for each side would have to exceed at least 10 a piece. i would suggest about 15 each side.
But if a server would run it, it would be an awesome map. Unforutunetly i've got no skill for a map that big and my efforts would just dissapoint. But your plans are excelent.
Lol, internets.
