The farsight was NOT a heatseaking gun... but it could shoot through walls. With the farsight, we had the greatest fun ever. We told our cousin that the green tiles would kill him, so he was constantly looking at the ground... and then we shot him, saying "ah you stood on a green tile" XD... over and over again.

Anyway, I love the game, and there's a mod for soldat, based on perfect dark. It's really nice, love the shotty. check it out.

The farsight is a heat seeking gun, definitely. I think it was its secondary mode or something. It wasn't like a super accurate heatseeker but you could turn it on and it would find people and slowly follow them around.

It want a heat seeking weapon. It did however show you the heat source of a person. BUT it didnt seak the heat out, as a rocket would do.

Well I mean the actual bullet didn't follow the person that you shot, but the targeting reticule would follow them around.

goldeneye shits on perfect dark when goldeneye was made it was already pushing the most absolute limits of the n64... perfect dark tried to expand on it but has a virtually unplayable framerate

goldeneye multiplayer > perfect dark

theres none of this bot/shoot through walls crap it was actually EVEN

wow it made the textures look nicer

goldeneye is pure multiplayer where its you vs someone else... perfect dark is just drawn out and shitty because of the craptacular framerate... while its ok in single player it slowsdown heaps in multiplayer when you want to put in more than 2 bots or use any of the features

oh and i coulf fudge up yo shizz nigga

lol you're talking about a 4mb RAM upgrade... that's barely anything. Anyway just because a game requires 4mb more memory doesn't make it better.

I got my memory expansion pack to play Zelda: Majora's Mask.

Goldeneye was arcade style... Perfect Dark was more realistic

Next time you play Perfect Dark, do this:

Create a custom game in the Facility level (or whatever it's called in PD) with 7 Hard sims on your team and 1 Hard sim on another team, all by his lonesome. Turn friendly fire on, and make every weapon on the map a Rocket Launcher. Then, watch your team score go into the negatives rather quickly
