I've been practising with the Gimp these days. Came up with something like this.

All I can do is colour it black and white because my damn computer reconizes it as a grayscale scanned picture, and won't let me colour it.
It's my first art with Gimp, and it doesn't look good (the details). Hopefully I'll do better next time.

Looks awesome!
And you can choose wheather the image is RGB or grayscale or etc. I don't know how can you do it in Gimp, but it's possible in Photoshop.

I saw one "bad" thing - coaking handle and fire switcher are on right side in AK-47/74.

Decaying soldat... mirror the image so the AK thing would be OK

In paint - select all, right click, flip/rotate, flip horizontally.
