Maplist Help
« on: July 27, 2007, 08:27:18 pm »
Hello. I'm trying to create a Zombie Infiltration map server, but when I try to create a maplist, and use /nextmap,  I receive an "Index Out of Bounds (0)" error. I'm assuming I entered the information in the maplist.txt file wrong. If someone would like to assist me, the map name is Zombie_Moonshine.pms.

I also know I am supposed to remove the .pms. Still didnt help me much, though.

Isn't the file called mapslist.txt instead of maplist.txt?

Remove any spaces before and after map names, and remove blank lines. The map names are case-sensitive.

I bet you are running with Linux, so just nano/gedit/whatever the mapslist.txt to fit your needs. Add the map names without the file ending.

AFAIK, "Index Out of Bounds (0)" means that the mapslist.txt is empty. It opens the  mapslist into an array/table, and when it tries to access empty array/table, it gives that error. :o

Yeah, that is the cause. Happens when you create->modify a file called maplist.txt.  I always fail to remember that it is mapslist.txt, not maplist.txt. ;;_

Alright, no, I was running on windows, and the problem actually seemed to fix itself after I restarted the server (much like when you host a game, get to the kill limit, and keep getting error messages as host).

Thanks for the help though. Felt like an idiot for having to post this in the first place.
