Your most embarrassing moment?

I wouldn't be surprised if the same thread has been done before, so don't punch me okay? 

My most embarrassing moment would definitely be when I was in ctf_Ash and in Alpha team. I was in the middle of the map with FFC and he was killed, so I took the flag he was holding. Then I went to base, but there was no flag. Then everybody started team-messaging: "CAP, idiot!" "C'mon, score already!". It came out that since I usually do Bravo I am used that our base is on the right, so I was actually in enemy base. It happened twice by the way!

lol! That's funny - and that does happen to me when the server auto-balances teams. I shoot my own team, not used to the change.

My embarrassing moment(s) also have to do with capping. When both flags are taken, and I'm sort of waiting for my teammates to return.

Well our base gets attacked, and I get weakened. So in the heat of battle, I try to pass the flag to a healthier teammate. ... Naturally, I miss and throw right at an opponent - giving away the flag.

I seem to have more and more embarrassing moments in Soldat as time goes on. Several different things have happened to me (some of them repeatedly) over the past few years.

I have, on several occasions, during an important clan war, ran towards our flag with the enemy flag in an attempt to score, only to overstep our flag completely and then get gunned down milliseconds later by vengeful enemies who quickly return their flag. This happens more frequently when I try to be eloquent with my caps, such as prone jetting the entire way to our flag, only to find that I come up a little long or short. By the time that I unprone, it's too late....

The longer that I play Soldat, the progressively worse my aim becomes. It's especially embarrassing when an enemy is in our base about to return his flag or steal ours, and I decide to pull out my knife for, what I think will be, a very easy (but nevertheless impressive flag saving) shot. More often than not, I completely miss by a centimeter or more, when I could have simply gunned the person down much easier. The person then escapes, and I feel the wrath of my team.

I'm not much of a camper, but on occasion I have been known to hide and wait for the enemy flag carrier to run by me so that I can get a quick surprise kill and return our flag. However, I usually fire my weapon or throw my knife at the wrong time completely, alerting the enemy to my location and ensuring that I won't be getting that flag back any time soon. It's especially embarrassing when I have a clear shot in a pretty flat area (bottom of ctf_Ash, anyone?) but manage to mess up anyway.

I didnt say killed, I said p0nt, not same thing, p0nt is much worse! But after his vacation he will probably easy to kill, and if he is not, I will do it when he sleeps... muahaha...

Yea, same. I remember once a looong time back, I threw the flag 3 times to the opposing team in a single war after capping the flag... My clanmates almost killed me themselves...

Once right after i joined a game i killed ffc in front of our flag and scored...don't know even why i did that.

Gotta be in nuubia, i rush into the enemys base and get the flag, then get back to ours as fast as i can with all the enemys chasing me. So i get into a safe spot usually at the top and let my team mates kill them. Once they did i told them to "Gogogogogogo" because i can "protect myself". A few seconds later, 1 enemy comes into the base and kills me.

Probably when I was about to finish an enemy but I decided to get fancy and took out my knife instead...I missed, then he finished me off when instead I could just shot him one more time and he would have died.

Having the least score isn't embarrassing, unless you're last and the person above you is a 'Major' who only used minigun during the whole game. But yeah, sometimes you have bad days.

One of his fellow comrades leaps out to stop me to get the kill. I blow off his balls.

The m79 dude SHOOTS AT ME. MISS.
YES, KNIFING RANGE. TIME TO DIE SUCKER TIME TO DIE.

And suddenly all I see is stupid me tossing out my barret, and the moment I switched to knife it was too late and I couldn't get in range.

He blows me with a m79 shot before capping to win the game.

Throwing your primary gun instead of your knife isn't embarrassing, it's rather funny - however, I used to have knife as alternative weapon for months and then I started using LAW, it happened really often when I threw my LAW towards an enemy and he's like "". I was just used with my knife. ^^
