I have to disagree, 1 hit killers are in overall better than X hit killers

they can pull of a kill in less than 1 sec( m79 too, sometime...)

barrett is the best of 1 hitter because its not restricted by range(m79), time that would take the kill is considerably less than m79. and hella precision makes it a deadly arsenal if used correctly

well on a 1v1 situation the barret would win, but in actual situations the movement acc and bink from being hit mean that if it is 2 v 1 it would be very hard for the barreter to win.  As even with perfect accuracy at most you will get 1 if you can shoot before you get sprayed, then you would be forced to move and such.

But say the ruger for example has much lover bink and movement acc so therefore if he or she had perfect aiming could down both of them much easier.

unless they charge at you together there is no way that a good sniper cant push them back.
I once played a 2vs3, and I alone held the 3 man team back while my teammate was making the caps.
god...that was the day..

but yeah if all you have is a barrett that would be bad, but there are knifes, LAWs and nades at you disposal to dispose the other team

Huh, I've used barret in Hexer and have gotten first a fair amount of times. It's usually through caps because then I just need to hit and run. But that's hexer of course; everyone plays at a different level. I'd say that the average sniper would need to use secondary and nades more often.

If it was death match? I dunno if a Barrett could survive for long. Probably better for team-oriented, objective-based gametypes.

Specified weapon has nothing to do with how high you are ranked. In big servers it is easy to make one kill just by waiting for the enmy to come in the middle of the map.

In deathmatch you are nothing with Barrett, usually. Unless you are running everyone away and shooting from behind polygons.

Yes, but what I'm saying is that with the barrett, you can kill the first person you see at the enemy base, grab the flag, throw a nade, and run. It's a lot easier to rack up the points by scoring than by killing.

I doubt there would only be 2 people in most ctf games though.

Anyway, I would say the ruger is the most dominant weapon. IMO, the fire interval needs to be increased a notch.

Yes, there are usually more than two people, but whose to say the the whole team is where the flag is? If they're all camping, then a nade would be great for crowd control while I hightail it with the flag.

There are no dominant weapons at all, if you are good enough you can kill anyone with any weapon.

I find using an auto effective against a Sniper. Against a ruger it's hard to say, probably another ruger. Against an Auto you can use a ruger. Against an m79 you can use almost anything. There's a counter weapon I think for most weapons.
