Created from a sketch of mine, I set out to create a map which incorporates both open areas and smaller, linear sections to offer varied gameplay. In the open sections of the map, there are bullet blockers which can be used to avoid enemy fire. This adds an interesting aspect to the gamplay as they can be used for escaping fire, travelling around the map and also flanking enemies.

A big thanks to Keron Cyst for helping with the waypoints so the map can be played with bots and also to the people who's custom scenery I used.

Volcisle supports Deathmatch, Teammatch, Pointmatch and Rambomatch. Enjoy the map!

The layout is a bit bleh for me, but the shading and scenery usage is wonderful. :)  I don't like how the outer edges fade into the background, it looks weird.  Sigh.

Say, what font did you use for "VolcIsle" in the top-left? Calibri? I'm pretty sure the top-right is Lucida Console ;D That's an excellent font.

It's Maiandra GD.  ;)

I don't like how the outer edges fade into the background, it looks weird.

I did that to make it look like there was a bit of haze from the active volcano. It isn't really noticable in game when you're playing against others though.

Since I know this topic is on the 5th page of the subforums, I just wanted to say something.

I have this map of yours, and it looks quite wonderful. The shading and scenery usage is superb, but the flow of the layout is pretty average. The opacity of polygons is one of the best usage I've seen in partly opacitized maps.

But one thing kinda bothered me. Why are the "platforms", the small, thin stuff hanging above or below polys colliders? It'd make sense that it'd be a spray blocker, but not solid? Trippy.

Anyway, superb work.
