Which guns for which maps [and vice versa]?

The title says it all! 

This thread is mainly to give some assistance for beginners who use all the guns and don't really know which CTF map goes with which gun the best. I'd say ctf_Run is very good for barret, it has lots of space (sadly, for random shots), on the other hand, ctf_Ash is a nice little map for Steyr, MP5 and AK-74. For M79 users, this gun works nicely in ctf_Maya and ctf_Conquest. Your opinions? What's the best map for Ruger that needs good aiming skills?

I think the best maps for Ruger are Shau and Bunker.

I find that Cambodia is quite nice with the Minimi. Though most maps work well with the Minimi when it's a public server ¬¬

This is what I use...

ctf_Ash = Desert eagles, HK MP5.
ctf_B2b = AK, sometimes ruger.
ctf_Death2/Dropdown = HK MP5.
ctf_Equinox = M79.
ctf_Kampf = Spas, ruger (sometimes).
ctf_Lanubya/Laos = Desert eagles, HK MP5.
ctf_Maya/Maya2 = Desert eagles, and AK since it's a long map.
ctf_Run = Steyr aug to bink the barretts, since they are used a lot in this map.
ctf_Snakebite = HK MP5 is very good for rushing in this map. Sometimes use Spas.
ctf_Viet = M79, HK MP5.
ctf_Voland = Desert eagles.
ctf_Division/Cobra/Steel/Ruins = Spas, great for boosting in tight places, I also use Desert eagles in these maps.
ctf_Conquest = m79 is great here.

ctf_Viet = ak, steyr, baz
ctf_Voland = hk and styer
ctf_Division/Cobra/Steel/Ruins = steyr, deagles, baz, ak.
ctf_Conquest = Steyr.

smaller areas with close range battles would require SMG's/shotgun i think

larger areas with wide open spaces would require rifles/LMG's

map's like cambodia, however require a little bit of both because you have wide open areas and small tunnels

In the opening post, true, but not for the thread title. Maybe someone should create a similar thread for DM maps... to be fair.

Nuubia used to be all m79, now its spas and m79
Ash sucks, I hate it. I don't know why clans like it so much. Leos as well. I just pick some auto, they all do the same thing now anyway.

Anyway, Ash is a good map for fewer players (maybe 8 or less). I'll say that the best weapon for that map is the MP5??
