Theres a non-shitty version?
And if the dam breaks open many years too soon
And if there is no room upon the hill
And if your head explodes with dark forebodings too
Ill see you on the dark side of the moon

Yes. Relative to everything, our lives are utterly pointless. If you're going to act like the weak puppet of fate that you are, might as well get it over with.

so your actually promoting suicide to the 'weak puppets'?
Realistic mode only baby. (;

Don't worry kid, once you get out of high school and the small dose of reality that is the college age you will not so idiotic. Until then please feel free to keep all your opinions to yourself.

You forget this is a forum, where people get to voice their opinions.  And what does college have to offer in America anyway, other than a fine choice of drugs and the chance to possibly learn something?

No one makes a dent in the universe, no one.  That's just how it is.  If someone wants to take the easy way out and get things over with quick, fine...I won't stop them, because I am in no positoin to say offing oneself is wrong under certain circumstances.  But let's not kid ourselves into thinking that anything we humans do has any impact on the universe.  That's just silly.

Your dreams are yours alone.  Live and die by them as you see fit, but recognize that they are at a scale which is understandable by those life forms (i.e. us) who actually have a word for a "dream".  Life has existed for billions of years by the simple drive to exist.  No dreams, no thoughts of expansive homes or "better things".  Just being here was enough.  So dream all you want, and be happy.  Strive past the shortcomings.  Yet either route, death or that happy struggle towards the ideal, will have little of impact in the long run, much less upon the universe.

Not until someone blows up the planet anyway, but even then...just one of many.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams it is
still a beautiful world.  Strive to be happy.
