Hi all;
I've decided to try my hand at making music, and I'm looking for decent (not Music making/editing software around. Any tips on where I could find a good program?
Just another soul to burn.

what instrument do you play? If you're going for mixing music, I would recommend fruity loops. That's a good one. Lots of cool synths and stuff.

And of course, Garageband is an extremely useful program. If you have a mac, that is.

If you play guitar, I got a nifty little usb adapter that I can plug my input jack into. It's great if you have garageband, and the cheapest ones are only 20 dollars (I've got a mac running in my garage).

Odd, I just realized that "garage" is a really freaking weird word.

I love fruity loops, its not fruity like everyone calls it. I wasted all my $400 on XXL edition, hahahaha.

I use Sibelius 4 for my neo-impressionist compositions, but if you want something free and simple, you can try PxTone, by the creator of Cave Story. It only allows you to create and organize sounds in a obscure format, but it's very versatile.
