Ok, I got some money...Help me choose a game.

Ok, remember I'm australian when you read this, and our money is worth more here....things are more expensive.
I haven't got the best computer (256mb NVidia card and 512mb RAM) and I'm looking for games that will run with decent fps.

I want a game that will last me a few months, but isn't overly hard in its gameplay. Oh...and did I mention its needs a good SINGLEPLAYER.

I way also wanting to know. What is Sims 2 like? Its loke 80 bucks over here....is it worth it for its gameplay? Whats Hitman: Contracts and Blood Money like? Is it worth it? What kind of weaponry is there? Can I have Glocks? Can I dual Any 2 pistols together? Can I mod it easly? Price ranges (australian please)?

Also, if anyone says World Of Warcraft, i will slap you. That game is for XtremeNerds...

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is a pretty good game, great single and multiplayer. I don't know the aussie prices though, sorry.

Sims 2 sucks and its a waste of time.

Get MOH:AA. I keep replaying it to shoot some heads with the luger.

Command & Conquer 3 or.... Command & Conquer: Generals deluxe pack....

both have long AMAZING single player campaigns, and thousands of people play it online everyday

unless you really liked the sims 1, I wouldn't get the sims 2, especially not for 80 bucks, since you are stuck with singleplayer I would suggest an RTS such as Age of Empires 3 (offline it is great, its when you get online that the bugs fuck everything up, pray for a patch)

see if you can order the sims for a lower price

they are basically all the same, same linear shit. you have rising sun though, because in that one you can't justify your actions by saying "im just killing nazis"

So I tend to stick with consoles and stopped pulling my hair out trying to find a good, low quality game. I don't know how much it will cost or whatever, but Warcraft III battlechest is pretty good if you like that kinda stuff (way different that WoW)

The Sims 2 is only worth it if you buy an expansion pack or two. On it's own it feels bare and half-finished, and isn't nearly as fun. I'd seriously recommend Nightlife as your first expansion, because it fixes a lot of the graphical problems in the game, and probably Pets if you wanted a second.

Oh wow, sims, the virtual dollhouse, so fun.  If you like RTS games the Command and Conquer pack with Red Alert 2 and Tiberium Sun and C and C Renegade (a shooter) and expanions is pretty good, and it has really low requirements (Like 256 RAM and stuff)
