Do you prefer servers that are really quiet and where players tend to concentrate on the game or do you rather enjoy playing in a server where all people are really chatty?

I actually like to play with people who talk a bit, though sometimes it might get a bit too crazy - for example, once all players started talking about anime and I was the only one running back and forth the map, capping in every 10 seconds. And yesterday, one guy was constantly taunting Hurraaa!!! in every 5 seconds, which was kinda annoying. But overall, I like chatty servers. : )

Yup chatty servers are good, cuz in servers
that ppl dont talk alot, and dont say to
teammates "INC UP" or "BASE" teams are
weak.... anyway, no chatty servers suck...
But quiet is a bit good too, while players
writing some shit, other players can kill
them... well, I still vote for chatty servers..

It's good if people chat, unless they flood the server with annoying messages and taunts.

A little chat is never bad, but it's not uncommon that the chat is all about "you suk", "nobz" and other abusive words and such.

It's THOSE kind of players ,that piss me off for a reason.

I like chatty servers...where you can have fun talking as much as playing and messing around, ect. Unless it's a cw, then it's a different story.

It's hot, as long as they chat friendly. If the chat is constantly spammed about how good or bad someone is then you pretty much feel like leaving.

There are four types of games:
Quiet - boring
Noob chat - "LOLZ U SUK HAY HOWD U KIL ME HAX HAZXOR NOOB" (fails)
Team chat only - fun, lots of strategy
Chatty - fun, everyone's friendly and having a good time

People occasionally shouting catch-phrases and responses to catch-phrases is my idea of a chatty server. Example: "LEEROOOOY JENKINS!" "Goddammit Leeroy!" "Least I got chicken." Y'know, as long as people don't spam and still play. What usually happens when some <3* guys get in the server.

Knowing where the EFC / FFC is going is also a big help.

What's not fun is when people say "owned" every time they kill someone; especially if they were killed by someone. I'm serious, this actually happened once. I killed a guy, then a guy on his team killed me, and the first guy actually said "owned." If this happens, there's always /mute, though.

In a chatty server, almost always someone is arguing with someone else. I love when this happens because eventually all the players side with one person, and the other person... takes the hit.
