I'm getting low fps caused by font problems again in linux, video compatibility/force software fail to help. Trying a wine update.

lol it is my fault or why is the ordner name soldat131 and why soldat 1.4.1 on the startscreen o.O

firstly, theres no such thing as an "ordner" in english .. its called a directory or a "folder" :P

secondly, If you called your old soldat directory "soldat131" and used the update.. then it does of course not rename your directory. you can however do that yourself without breaking anything, far as I know.

Alright...so i have a problem....when i start soldat i get a message as soon as it begins to start up an error window appears and states "could not initialize directx graphics" and the game then closes.


i need help and answers....i'm not a computer whiz like the most of you, so i will need some good explanation.

I tried to nail down as many as possible, but in the end it was apparently too "Polyworks-perfect"; the bounciness was caused by perfectly connected vertices, most of which could only be removed by drastically changing the terrain. Some of us also thought that ctf_Conquest just didn't "feel" like the true default rugged Soldat style :P
