I'm Ending my MapMaking Career

I'm officially done with making Soldat maps.  And I won't be making any of them anymore.  I'll just post some of layout and ideas of maps I've had into someone else's hands.  I'll still be a critic in the mapping department and will still give the best of advice I can to people and how they can improve their maps.

I've a lot of reasons to why I've given up on maps.  First, my maps are shit and I cannot create any decent ones, in fact I give map making a bad name.  Second, I won't have much or anytime at all to make them because I'm entering Freshman year in Highschool and with a lot of school work to be done.  Lastly, I just don't have the confidence and enough inspiration to make them.

The only time you'll ever see a map with the author name of "The Specialist" is probably when I'm really emo or extremely bored and have decided to create another shit pile of polygons and call it a "map".  Otherwise you won't be hearing from me.

Freshman year was fine n' dandy for me but some of it kinda sucked, so I guess I'll just say good luck. Hopefully you get good teachers. 

I am in agreement with you as well. I've had my run-through of making maps and now I don't want to make any more. That's all there is to it I guess. Good luck to all you folks out there, and I'll just hang around now (I have several unfinished maps dangling around my neck that I might finish just to call it good, so expect a couple more maps ). This isn't even my thread.

I've been making shit maps straight for three years, and have never gave up. Less being emo, more laying polygons, mkay?
