Hmm nice...This isn't much of a thread to comment on maps though... Hmm, lemme see. I know I have some unfinished maps somewhere, that I won't finish...

Here's this map:

Edit: I hope not too many people wanted to use this map :-\... Well, I took it down because I may want to do something with it later. Still, Laser Guy gets first dibs and he can work on it ;).

If someone wants it, and has a good idea, it's theirs to finish. It'll take me a bit longer to upload it... Meant to be capture the flag. When I first made this map, it was with the intention of making a nice happy map. I almost imagined Fabreeze, if anyone has ever seen Fabreeze... I wanted a nice map where Soldatens could frolic. That was my original idea.

Then, I had this idea for an epic zombie map. Zombies spawn in the caves and fields and then parade into the town that you defend. If you fall, so does the city. That was my idea. Currently, it's still all polygons and unfinished stuff. I have no intention of actually finishing it now...

Same goes for this map. I'm sorry but I don't have the upload ready. If anyone has the dire want to at least have the map to say that they will finish it, please request. It'll get me moving faster ;).

My latest disaster.

I would post the sceneries, but i can't find them in my soldat folder and the whole scenery folder is over 25 mb so... You'll just have to get them yourself.
Sorry.

Use SMP for packing maps, it finds sceneries automatically.

Yes, you should definitely finish it.  I can see a lot of potential in that map and it really looks amazing.

Not really scrapped, but I'm slooooowly working on it :q
ctf_de_inferno.

I ofc also kinda wanted to tease a bit, but a seperate thread would've been near spam.

So instead of spam in a separate thread you posted offtopic spam, great ;)

This has been bothering me for some time, and it isn't entirely off-topic. What is that pole for, or what was it for? And why does it still sit and linger? I was able to vote on it a while back ;)

I don't see anyone ever being able to use this, but...

A large tank-ish drill I decided to scrap made for a map I'm updating. It uses 96 polygons and 6 sceneries. The size is so large since I originally wanted people to be able to go inside, but I decided that'd take too many polygons. It also doesn't really blend well with the intended map, and I don't see it doing the same for anyone else's. Maybe someone can strip a part from it for use.

DM_Moon looks nice for some fast action albeit it's outer layout is too simple.
The block-shape ruins some of it in my opinion.

Try using some crevices or something to spice it up perhaps? [retard]

You don't want a flat bottom for a DM map. Ever. Even Arena2 is at least kind of hilly for some variation. Provide variation!

Make the boulders smoother to give a more natural feel. A good rule of thumb (though perhaps a bit exaggerated) is this: "If I can count the # of polygons used to make the boulder just from a screenshot, it's probably not enough." :P The top-middle I can see about 8, no?
