font problem with 1.4.2

hello!
the text in game is shown incorrectly
when i had 1.4.1 I turned "video compatibility" ON and the problem disappeared
in this new version the problem remains

well ive tried updating my graphic cards drivers, don't have a good graphics card but its only my font that is all pixelated. in 1.3.1 it was fine, 1.4 and 1.4.1 i only had to put video capabilities on and it worked. but for 1.4.2 it isn't working any more. my font is only pixelated

now I uploaded my card driver an when I run soldat an error message is shown: impossible initializing directX 8 or higher...
my video card is Matrox millennium g400 dualhead

Are you sure that you have the newest driver from your graphicscard?

Get a new graphic card. If you have upgraded all drivers and stuff, and it's not working, there's only 2 things to do.

Get a new graphic card (I'd suggest a nVIDIA GeForce one), or get Michal to make a new version of soldat.
