What's the nastiest accident that has ever happened to you?

I haven't had any really nasty accidents, but oh well - when I was younger I played with my 3-year old brother and was climbing on the floor like my soldat prones in Soldat. 
So I felt some weird kind of pain in my leg, near the toes, but I didn't think much of it. Later I discovered that a small piece of glass (that had been come from a crystal dragon the cat had broken earlier that day) had been deeply scratched the region and I got 4-5 stitches. My Mom thought she cleaned the glass off the floor properly, but one sharp bastard had been stuck inbetween the floorboards.

What about you guys? Had any grisly experiences?

that i remember? broken my arm when a friend shoved me and i tried to bracemyself backwards.. slit my ankle on a rusty bolt on my bike..

that i cant remember: fell through a coffe table and fell in a bathtub and hit my face on the metal door guide.

Rolled down my basement stairs, smashed into the corner of the wall, shifted the corner that was reinforced with an L shaped piece of metal, split head open and began bleeding all over. Fun times :3

A few days ago i had a job working at a lemon stand cutting lemons. Since we had to cut them a certain way and within a certain time period, it was hard to do. I slipped with the jagged knife i was holding and it cut my thumb and fingernail down the side, half way to being cut off. I felt the bone being rubbed against by knife blade. lemons suck now.

hmm..my nastiest accident was when I feel out of a 2-story window onto my head. I had a really bad concussion and couldn't go to sleep for like 36 hours or something, I was really tierd .

Oh yeah, forgot about this. I just got done painting fences for Church and I was sitting on a bucket in a big enclosed truck, and a mechanics creeper, the things you slide under cars with, fell from a shelf onto my head. Almost needed like 5 stitches, but got it glued instead.

Well... for me I have been hospitalized, but it was a mistake.

Me and my family were driving down from british columbia to edmonton, and the tire on the right side blew, and the car flipped over nine times, and the car was in the ditch. All i got was some bad seatbelt rash on my right eye. Very scabby. They put me and my family in stretchers and i fell asleep, even though i wasn't hurt. When I woke up i was yelling: I DO NOT LIKE HAVING MY HEAD HELD BY THIS PIECE OF SHIT! Take it off!. So they did. I got up and walked into the waiting room and waited for my family to get out. That was years ago though.

i tried doing a rock'n'roll, i got up the pipe, came back, lean to much forward and smak my chin on hard ground and start bleeding everywhere,needed stiches and now i also have a bald spot and scar there like Smegma.


when i was 12

playing rugby with friends, 1 gave me like a clam on the knees like thy do o,n television, i fell and i couldnt get back up/strech my leg, couldn't walk for 1-2months (well i could, but not with stretched leg)
i still have trouble with that leg once a while:/

Second worst time I was whittling. Got caught in a knot and sliced into my finger to the bone. A similar accident happened this year at work. I was cleaning pads off letters (I work/worked at a sign shop) with a sharp, single edged razor. It got stuck in the plastic pad, popped up and sliced. Lots of blood, but I didn't go for stitches that time, just got the scar.

Forgot to mention, I was wearing braces at the time. I hit head on with my chin, first. If I hadn't had those braces, I would've lost half of my teeth or more.

I got hit in the eye with a baseball when I was like 8 ... routine ground ball or so I thought popped up and bam, lights out.

I was wrestling in my house with my older cousin who weighed about 190 pounds at the time. He knocked me over on my side, so I was sideways on the ground. My little brother pushed my cousin and he tripped over a toy and fell square on top of me, crushing my collar bone/shoulder into my body. I had extensive surgery and had to get pins in my shoulder. I still have scars from the pins.

I was sawing a chopped-off tree today and it hit my hand. I had two stitches, that is why I got the idea to do this topic.

I've cut myself pretty deed on accident with knives a few times. Also, I don't know if this is considered an accident, but my Cousin's dog vomited on my foot once.

oh yeah, when i was just learning to ride a bike, i was in a parking lot and took a really sharp turn and my pedal hit the pavement, then i slid and hit my teeth on the pavement.. i was like 3. lost a tooth, they were all bloody.. nasty
