Linkin Park- bleed it out
« on: August 16, 2007, 04:47:22 pm »
ok so most of u know this is their second videoclip of the minutes to crap(midnight) album. Many people complained that they new style sucks a lot and it does, saying that theres no more Shinoda rap etc...
This song has rap but...for me it cant even be compared to other rapcore, nu metal songs of them..
Bleed It Out, ok has the shinoda rap, OK, but the song is like always "I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away,I bleed it out, Digging deeper just to throw it away, I bleed it out, Digging deeper just to throw it away,Just to throw it away,
Just to throw it away
" the videoclip is like, simple has hell, with only that reverse part of the audience, chester seems like hes having some sort of attack when singing the "i bleed it out" part on the video...

concluding, OK, rap, but, nothing like the old linkin park, this song cant even be compared to in the end, faint, somewhere i belong etc...

so anyone who likes LP i dont advice u to buy the new album, not even this song, the only one that sounds a bit like the old LP can save it, its one 1 song against the other 11 i guess, or, we can include what ive done, dispute being all" Oh war, problems in world" it has a good sound

This song had been better if it was like 3:30 time, MORE shinoda rap, since its simply whiped of new LP and not so "I bleed it out, Digging deeper just to throw it away" all the time, perfect example of good old LP is somewhere i belong

I agree. They are nowhere near what they used to be.
However, I wonder how many of you have listened to Fort Minor? It is with Mike Shinoda and they got lots of good songs that are in the style of the old linkin park.

www.fortminor.com go and listen to some of their songs

Bleed it out lacks some real bass guitar rythm, especially on the I'll bleed it out, digging deeper just to throw it away part. Oh just go listen to some arch enemy, linkin park got to much u2-ish

They metal from screamo to emo in like 1 CD, I never listened to them but my friend is part of Linkin Park Underground or w/e, some fan thing. I always thought they were ok and a lot of their songs had a pretty good message, but now it's like "My girlfriend died on valentines day" and other emo crap, too bad.

Guys, people actually have different music tastes, while you may not like their latest album, I bet there're others who do, so please stop saying groundless ignorant judging statements like :
Many people complained that they new style sucks a lot and it does
for courtesy's sake at least say "I think" cause you are definitely not the 6.6 billion people on this planet, you actually pissed me off.

A note about the album : I think that this album was targeted for the young adults, that's why it didn't appeal to many teens around the world, unlike the previous screaming and rapping albums which were best recieved by teens, as teens tend to be violent and rebellious by nature, not that screaming or rapping is bad, but there're simply other ways of sending a song's message. This album's messages are best the way they are, you don't honestly think that rapping or screaming can help in a calm song like Shadow of the day or Little things give you away.

Back on topic : I actually agree with you, I didn't like I bleed it out much either, probably because it didn't fit in the album's general style.

good dascoo

Lets compare the likes/hates new LP

well the fact is that they are s great band, YES. But the new style is to emo...and wtf about shadow of the day? Oh my god such girls they are now...i mean comon!
They could change yes, but not this way. If they kept most of their songs with old style and like ok, that shadow one and more 3 in the album, it was ok...

Everyone can change, they changed, oh well...i only hope in the next album, we dont need to wait 4 years to  hear more crap.. :(

they change their style like mid song, it goes from being a crappy rap song to a crappy metal song to a crappy emo song then back to whatever the hell they started with. They actually fail at multiple genres of music all at the same time.

It's to repetitive and predictable for me....

But for some reason I liked the guitar in that song that was advertised with Transformers...

EDIT: I also liked that song Papercut...kind of made my head move.
