Anime haters?

You people who never seen anime (pokemon and that sh*t doesent count) and say you hate it, you are like I used to be before I watched some good anime, and I hate myself for missing out for so long.

Seriously, try it. I can reccomend the Hellsing series for starters. not that it is better than the rest, but it is a pretty short anime of only 13 episodes. Some guy made me watch that a long time ago. I thought that anime was only for retards and pretty sure it sucked, but it did not.

Also, dubbed anime blows ********* watch the original japanese voice with english subtitles.
If you watched a little anime on english TV and you think it sucked, well because it does. English anime has so f**kd up voices and is so cencored it is crap.

If you post here with negative feedback, please justify it. explain WHY you think something you never seen sucks so badly.

There were some series that I liked, but other than that, I didn't really enjoy anime alot.  I'd rather go read some manga.

Becuase, in general, the point of anime is to create action and suspense, correct. There is some comedy, which I will get to later, but I will start with action.
I am never impressed with drawn action shows becuase it isn't real. It is different when Chuck Norris is kicking the crap out of hundreds of evil drug dealers becuase then you can actually see someone doing it, even if it is fake, it is still impressive becuase it does take some talent. Drawing Chuck Norris kicking the crap out of drug dealers just is as fulfilling. Explosions just don't mean as much when they are drawn; who would watch the a drawn Death Star explode; even if it isn't real, it still isn't as impressive drawn. I also tend to not like the story lines of anime, they just aren't as cool. In short, I would rather watch a car actually explode than a drawn one explode. Now, I understand most anime isn't explosions and guns, but sword fights just aren't as impressive knowing that someone just drew it rather than people actually doing it.
Comedy is a different story. All the anime comedy I've seen just isn't funny. Wow, that was way shorter than action.
I would just like to end with this, I would rather see people actually do it in real life rather than on a piece of paper.

The dialogue and emotion is different. Besides english voice actors all sound like clowns. Their are basically no serious ones. It's because most cartoons or anything animated is associated with comedy. Sounds unproffesional.

yup if you see a car blow up etc it is probably animation anyway. Watching a good anime, you dont care that it is drawn or not. not when you are in the middle of the episode. you dont see lines and ink (you know what I mean) You see the characters.

And smegma, you have no idea what crappy voice acting does to an anime. Takes out all the feeling and makes it sound like some want-to-be-comedic piece of dung, when it's actually an action series. I heard the english companies got TONS of complaints(even some death threats) for screwing up the series so badly because of it

Bleach was great because I watched the japanese version. You [anime haters], as I know, Japan has made a lot of cool items, this form of entertainment along with what you are holding in your hand at this exact moment.

Watch some anime from Gonzo and Geneon. These, among others, have almost all of my favorite animes in there.

I've watched all kinds of it. When I was a kid, DBZ was the shit. I would wake up at 6 AM to watch it.

But now, animators don't have an excuse to pull the lame money-saving crap because more is at their disposal. There are now assloads of badly dubbed, crap-written animations that still sell because people eat the stuff up. And that's the crap everyone should hate. Here and now, the only ones I would stand watching are FLCL and FMA, but that's because they are well dubbed and well written. Bleach? One Piece? Naruto? Sorry, I've already gotten my fill of DBZ-three-filler-episodes-then-twenty-minutes-of-actual-work.

The reason some of you hate Bleach is because it takes a little bit of inspiration from a large variety of past animes. But it's all familiar and is mixed into something quite new and old. I like it because it mixes well.
