I'm in a slump...

Anyone know what to do in a situation like that?

It seems that no matter what I do and no matter who in my clan I play with, we always lose.  We are on a six-scrim losing streak.

*sigh*

Part of the fact is that I'm depressed as hell right now, because of several things which I don't even wanna list.  (Think of getting fired, losing loved ones, etc)

What do you guys do when you and your clan start to lose your edge?  Cause it really hurts for me to see my clan faltering at every turn.

Yeah you should focus on real life right now man.Your life matters more. YOur clan can wait. Its just a game by the way. And if you want to focus on your clan then you guys should have a plan. Like whose going to grab the flag and whose going to guard low etc..

Play alot. So what if you lose?

Clans aren't about winning or losing, but getting better. Play against the best clans around. If you play for the victories, you will never become good. Never.

Take a break, let the co-leader (if you have one) run the clan for a while and just play casually. As Bond said above, your main problem is your personal life.

Play different modes and on different servers. I mainly play Infiltration on U13 and Fractured, but sometimes just for a change of pace I'll play CTF or do a gather or mess around with Fistbox or kill some zombies or play with realistic mode on. Sometimes I'll just not play Soldat for a while and mess around with other games. There's plenty of shmups out there if you want to work on your reflexes, plenty of adventure games if you want to relax, plenty of Doom WADs if you want to just blow crap up.

Ahhh, I love these "I suck all of a sudden" threads. My best advice for this situation is don't play soldat for awhile. Play a different game, just take a break for a few days, if you play too much, I have found, you run your skills right into the ground. Remember, this is one of the most casual games out there, just have fun.

Dude, just drop the clan. I've been in the GG clan for too long to not understand this. Yea, we lost a lot.. but remember what I said when Zero was beating me in a 1 vs 1, "Omg, I'm getting sick of this, I'm not going to waste my life on this game and find out that its not worth it".

Noob clans... It's not as if that'd increase your clan's "morale," after all, it's a noob clan.

I suggest clan training, get your clan co-leader or something to organise one just to help your clan members to improve. Once you know your players well, your communication and teamwork will improve, giving you a much better chance of winning wars.

Get rid of the inactive players who are in the clan just for the sake of being in a clan, if they're not exactly helping out but just wearing a tag, they're not really worth keeping. Concentrate on your finer, loyal and harder-working clan members.
