Here's a 2nd attempt.

It's plain ON PURPOSE...so don't be saying "more scenery" or "more shading"..

Very sexy Green, doesn't go with that texture very well. Your color choices are...wierd  and don't go with the laws of physics. Gameplay wise I think that big opening in the middle is really too wide and would end up being a huge spray pit/sniperhole.

The texture is butt-ugly <3 Also try to get flawless shading... Reminds me of B2b a LOT

Are you using Mapmaker? Try Polyworks... is a lot better.
The texture is ugly... you should try to do structures, not single polys one over other. See some tutorials.

Don't listen to them mar77a. If you use MM+, stick with it. I use it and I find it's amazing in and of itself. Don't conform to Polyworks!

I rather like how you sorta took a chakapoko_maker approach to the map and it does really remind me of the shading of b2b, just a tad more dramatic with the lime green color. I like it :D

Nice map, I like how there're so many places switch your route.

Lolz, get out of the dark ages Mar77a! MM+ is the evil! :O. Polyworks is way better and more effective. Shading is a LOT easier and makes poly usage look better.

I.....really don't like it :(. the colours are so random. You say we shouldn't comment on the shading or scenery, because it's meant to be bland, but some maps work that way and some don't and this is one that doesn't work bland.

Stop telling him to use PolyWorks. It's quite obvious he already knows of it.

Mm... the texture doesn't match the colors at all, which themselves are too saturated in the first place

I must say, even though you specify simple shading and what-not, the top is rather too black.

Also, I'd say that if you put a bit more of a hill on the Bravo side of the middle, the sniping spray badness wouldn't be as bad. Actually it doesn't look like it would be too horrible as of now.

To the rest of you, no more debating between MM+ and Polyworks. Each to their own liking.
