After playing on Bgretydew's Law Catch server (see this topic for details) for an hour (even with my busted finger... lol) I must say it was a load of fun indeed. So much fun, in fact, that it inspired me to make a map just for fun in hopes of seeing it on the server some day. It maintains all the dimensions and other specifications for the map style so it should be just fine. If you have any questions or comments please post em here.

Middle thing is too long, you can't hit enemies in the otherside of map.

Yes, too tall. You could hit them when testing, because in bgretys server law has been slowed down, and you probably doesn't have the same law as he.

ah, gotcha! lol thx bud! *workin on it right now*

edit: fixed the middle thing. tell me if its still too short. keep in mind it may just look short cause the outter walls are a bit short as well.

Nice map, very cool. I like the rocks and the building  is sweet.

Middle thing is still too tall... You must lower it pretty much.

I did, it looks basically the same but I did in fact shorten it by more than 30 or 40px from the original. perhaps if your standing in the ditch on either side then you might not be able to get great distance, but it will still definately go over. Im almost positive!

Oh sorry, umm as far as I know, no animated .gif's in you sig. I'd talk to flab though because yours is small and unannoying.

I got same law mod as bgrety has, and still law cannot reach the side of map. You must lower it very much.

Btw, in weapons.ini reduce law's speed to 155, to get same speed as bgrety's server.

lol, finally! I edited my weapons.ini file thing to the server's LAW speed and tested the map several times. it is now possible to reach every part of the map wherever a player may be standing. 8)

if something still aint right then please lemme know

the middle tower looks so fake and doesn't even match the theme...
the sun is disturbingly bright, those green rocky things are more disturbing than beautiful, you can easily boost yourself on the edge of the map...

I like this map ALOT more than Vigalowhattever's law map.

I like the shading, that tower in the middle, and the texture.

It looks fun. I give it a 10/10.

lol you talkin about the very top-right of my last screenshot? I am workin on a UT mod, but mostly have the sounds and Weapons-gfx done so far...


if you cant go on the edge of the map its boring and just "lube"

if you can go on the edge of the map it makes it boring. then the other team cant reach you and you sit back and laugh at them, /piss, etc. while the rest of their team dies. that ruins the game. I dont like ruinging games, nor making maps where people can. lol, thats just me though.

btw, make the sun 50% visible and add such a scenery: fx_li_flare2 into the sun.

maybe make the castle 2 steps grayer (from the original palette of polyworks)

I've made a law map with such an idea long ago. Where the only way to eliminate the enemy is with mortaring or weapon richochets. In two words - pro gaming.

You know, that was probably the first time I've ever seen Vig say anything nice about a map other than his own.  Seriously.
To sum up my point: We had a multipage debate about toilet padding. (Putting TP in the water so you don't get splashed.)
And we still don't know if dead guys can keep a stiffy.
