I don't think I have ever played HTF with people before. I haven't seen a server with HTF before.

HTF is the only mode with flags that I actually play, when it's not DM.
Pity no one plays it indeed, same applies for rambo mode.
htf_futura was a neat map for a start...

I fixed the quote made by Keron Cyst, I remembered it wrong.  :P

I've played on the forum's Hold the Flag server.  Chakra, Sticky, Gunpowder, Jazzy Joe, and several other people were there.  We had fun with 3 on 3 matches, I wouldn't mind playing there again soon.  ;)
Its called IRC best way to get games going... how do you think we started that game in the first place?

Best thing to do is go in with a few people, play with 2 or 3 people for a bit and most likely other people will join. Thats just how HTF has been for a while now.

I tried this with another friend and the players just poured in, after I left for about 15 minutes to eat. When I came back to rejoin, the server was still full. Very surprising. :O

Its not that people don't like the game its just that the servers aren't full with people when they join. Thats the only flaw of HTF now.

I never can play HTF because of few and empty servers. It's my favorite mode.
My filter in soldat have a "not empty and not full".

And when I often check soldat forum's server is empty...

I would like a feature in Soldat to enter in a server and minimize soldat. When somebody enters I should get a popup message.
Being in a server for ten minutes waiting somebody to enter is quite stupid.
