Agreed with SDFilm.
Pirates have fun without worrying about all kinda strange stupid secret rules... or hygiene. And fun is what it's all about in life. Drinking and laughing and singing while sailing over the oceans, great!

Anougher great thing about pirates, if you can get enough pirate mates together you can plunder a small town (wich they did) and round up a lot of female hostages wich you can then pimp out for even more gold. Now can ninjas do that?

PIRATES!!! Pirates, the cool ones are IMMORTAL and can put curses and have creepy creatures and yeah... they are strong. ninjas just jump aruond and throw sharp things at IMMORTAL pirates... i think pirates win hands down. and pirates have the cool lingo. ninjas have none. Plus pirates have cool schmitars. and GUNS. and cool ships. and ladies. and huge cannons. and get drunk. and have wooden legs. and cool 3 pointed hats. and treasure. and maps to treasure. and keys to treasure chests. and raid towns. and can fight bare handed. would fare well with brass knuckes xD.

Based on the personal hygiene thing for Pirates, that is disgusting.
I saw POTC, and the guy had decay caked to his teeth and he wasn't even dead. :-X Awfulll... So yes, tidy up, take your showers and you'll be as smooth as a ninja. Smooooth for the ladies. :P

ok this porves it for me, always suspected that ninja fans/wannabes (nightcrawler, hootie ;)) are nerds who drewl over some unsocial guy doing some of his moves that it took all his life to practice on, for what? to assasinate someone?? what kind of life is that??? atleast pirates sail the seas, plunder, sing jolly good songs and all that stuff, and apparently they have humour aswell (drivin' me nuts). and how can you call anyone who prefer pirates for emos?, isnt it the ninjas whos unsocial, wearing all black and, to me, seem to be stuck in a depressing world.
