Monsoonix.dll not found.....

When i try to start soldat it gives me a message box that says

 "soldat.exe unable to locate component"
  This application has failed because monsoonix.dll was not found.

Try reinstalling Soldat and see if the problem gets fixed.

well it seems there are freindly mods on here....... if you include the no existing ones. someone wasnt very good a picking mods i see. I have seen 3 mods and an admin on in the past 2 hours and no help. Seems they are urgent to help dont it.......

Could you go to the directory you installed Soldat to, and tell me if monsoonix.dll physically exists there or not?

Then you need to reinstall from scratch; ensure that you use the full install and not the 1.4.1 -> 1.4.2 patch. Redownload it to be sure.

If after reinstalling, it still is not there, that means some program on your system is removing it. You'll need to find out what is removing it.

Here's the one that comes with 1.4.2 http://nagather.u13.net/soldat/Monsoonix.zip , I have no clue why would a program delete that file, unless it's deleting all dlls or something.

It is a virusscanner...I have the same problem.It happens when a virus went into monsoonix.dll..Your virusscanner will delete monsoonix.dll :d
Ima trying to reinstall soldat or to reinstall monsoonix.dll
