Movable polygons or any different type of polygon function will never be added. It'll require too long of a coding time and would change Soldat's format. No support.

Doors would be nice... And just because Soldat isn't 3D doesn't mean you couldn't have doors .
@Kryp -- go buy some skills. use /command to bring up the commands.
Shouldnt their be working doors in soldat, or atleast movable polygons that moves when you touch it?
The reason behind doors or something similar to act as such would be that you could have semifunctional buildings. Screw moving polygons, that would be a waste of time and moving polygons are never going to happen...as far I can see. For realism, it would be more tactical. You could hide behind a shut door. You could have buildings in ctf with doors to have the flags in, or it would serve as better defensive cover. It would be better for making mission type maps. Alright, instead of doors, how bout the polygons that you couldn't see through, but go through. That would work basically the same way, and if you wanted to, you could also add on top, "only players go through" polygons so it would act as a door or defensive block.Instead of having wannabe doors, you would have actual doors, yay! They could be simple. Well, kinda.
Doors are NEVER going to be implemented in Soldat.Lock please.
→ New map features: weapon spawns, animated graphics in maps, power-ups, improvements in bot-behavior/waypoints, etc. (Marcinkowski himself declared that just about any suggestions regarding new map features will be ignored unless he specifically announces that the map format shall be changed, which he most likely shall not anymore due to the time-absorbing Crimson Glory project)→ Destructible terrain, liquids, VEHICLES, mobile polygons (these would require a gigantic map format change as already covered above, they would be huge changes to gameplay which would disgust many players, even more glitches would result from them, etc.)
