Soldat 1.4.2 - Keys becoming inactive
« on: August 22, 2007, 02:00:55 pm »
This happens to me at my dads, and at my mums.

When i am playing Soldat, various keys become inactive; Esc, Enter and a few others.

To quit Soldat i have to do Ctrl, Alt + Delete... is there a way to fix this?

This also happens to me and its completely random...happened in previous versions as well....you can play normally but you cant hit esc. to leave or to change teams.  You also cannot press "t" to talk or "/" to enter a command....ive also been wondering wtf is wrong with that.

Probably a keyboard driver conflict, or another program (such as those ones for keyboards that have Media buttons) causing it.

Yep this happens to me every once in a while too. I just quit out of soldat and rejoin and no harm is done.

Seems like it's the keys that act when the key is pressed rather than if the key is being pressed. I suppose from that logic, it would be more than possible to fix it but the method would be over kill (writing a script to check for a key being pressed with the same method as the player controls).
If that made any sense whatsoever.
