I don't know what made me decide to make this map, but it started with the background, and a helicopter. Also, it was spurred on by some ideas I was giving someone else on infiltration maps. Gave me motivation to start this I guess. One thing I gotta say, this was also made for the fact that I had taken a roadtrip this summer and had taken some awesome pictures; this was one of em.

Overview - Moutain view

Polygons: 772
Scenery: 3
Spawns: 15
Colliders: 0
Waypoints: N/A
Dimensions: 3435x1200

I'd say this is about 70% done. Gotta do some polygon touchups and scenery, and at some point, some waypoints. No releases yet.

Judging from that screenshot, this map looks good.  Your shading technique's match Anna and MisterCharles.

Yep, looks good, judging from the screenshot as well. The grass in the middle of the poly looks kinda out of place...

Nice background and nice everything else. Rounding things so much, though, makes them bouncy on their vertexes :( but i like to do that too :(:(. keep going m8!!!! ;D ;D

Is there any chance of a brief overview of what you have so far? I'm liking what I see, but alas, one screenshot defies the point of me judging the map. Get this done pronto, bro!

Alright, I must excuse my lack of a download and relevant screenshots :-\.

I'll get to it pronto, as in...possibly now. I'll do a whole map overview. One thing though, ignore the helicopter in the background!

Hmm, overview is kinda small. Meh photobucket.

I don't understand how on earth you could possibly think that that helicopter graphic could fit well with ANYthing other than a solid white background. Kill that bordering white, man!

EDIT
... ignore the helicopter in the background!
Whaaat? If even you yourself don't like it why did you put it in?

Hmm, overview is kinda small. Meh photobucket.

Keron, although I haven't checked, he could have takes the pic when he had the scenery tool selected.

The tool previews it, so it'd look the same when placed. Besides, this map isn't finished, anyways; the CTF/Inf & DM/HTF sections should bear only completed works.

Keron, I mean he hasn't placed it. He simply has it selected, but has no intention of placing it.

Thanks for moving the topic. It was a rightful move. And yes, I was experimenting with the helicopter which is, or was actually in the map. Your were almost right Wraithlike. I only said to ignore because I meant to get rid of it :).

I guess I couldn't get past leaving this half finished map in the finished section this time ;D. Well, since this is a WIP, anyone have suggestions on the selection of scenery? Not quite sure what I should do.

Wow that looks like a really nice map. But the chopper looks a little fake because of the white around it. But other wise it looks good.

This map could use some thick forest scenery, with a few empty plains.

Er, no. Still has yet to be worked on. I haven't done anything to it since. I've been working on other maps and stuff. Had a previous job with Pharaoh. Then had to finish work in the Sand with some mummies. Now I'm working on my new pencil gun with help from Gimp. Does this explain anything to you :P?

500th post yay. I post too frequently and probably am too active on this forums...meh whatever. 500 posts in about 9 months...that's a lot! Too much? maybe
