2 Problems. FPS Related
« on: August 26, 2007, 02:16:35 pm »
So my soldat runs at about 200fps on most maps, my first problem is when i minimize and come back the fps has dropped..when it gets to under 100fps its like 30fps, and it drops more eveyytime i minimize.
2nd problem is my soldat doesent feel smooth anymore, my soldat used to run at same fps as my monitor and it would always show 60fps on F3, but now it feels weird and sluggish, so im asking how can i make my soldat to same as monitor? *60fps

1. Check your monitors refresh rate.
2. This is a common bug(?) on vista that lowers the fps after minimizing.

OBEY!!!

I've noticed that xfire will only slow it down and make it jumpy/annoying if the main xfire window is open. First try Tools>Skin>Standard and if that doesnt work just minimize it.

Thanks iDante, my FPS is a lot higher. I never knew xfire would be the problem...

Enable Vertical Sync. This can usually be enabled by right clicking on the desktop and from there paying a visit to your graphic card's settings.
