Control points idea.

I know it has said not to give suggestions about map properties and stuff, but consider this if there is ever a major revamp of soldat. My idea (taken from other games) is to have several "control points" along the map. You get the control points by standing by them. Once you have captured it for the team, you all spawn from there. It would be good for linear game modes such as trenchwar , so you dont have to come all the way back to the point your team is stationed at, plus it would give a cool territory-ish feel. This probaly isnt likely to happen due to the scripting/new game mode element of the idea.

Actually, I THINK this can already be done with scripting.

Really? Well im a complete noob and have no clue how to script soldat.

I think not, at least for normal game. Soldat is soldat and should stay that way. (if that made any sense)

Aye, something like a combination of that domination script on [ec] TW servers (that is partially based on how much ground you're controlling, right?) and then just moving a player to map-specific coordinates when they spawn.
