Why at any given time you can click the "xx members xx guest online" link thing and see like 4 guests viewing the topic "Peters answers".

I wouldn't know forsure until I get the IP addresses of the Guests.
They might be crawlers (Search-engine bots) or just people interested in "Peters Answers" (It's the second result if you type in 'Peters Answers' in Google).

Yeah, noticed this a while ago. The answer is as DePhille said:

Usually it's alot more than just 4 though, I've even seen on a couple of occasions heights of about 30 people at once.

Yeah, Mancer gave the answer on how to make Peter answer what you want, which is a pretty popular search it seems.
