What Do You Think Is Better.

The ruger:
-fast reload time
-kills in only 2 shots(1 in realistic)
-very accurate
-no startup time

60% of the time it takes three shots with ruger. ontopic: Barret 1 hit kill....thats about it but i still like barret better.

Both, i have reasons for having no prefrence.

Barrett:
+ 1 hit kill
+ Straight bullet
- Long reload
- long firerate
- alot of inaccuracy

Ruger:
+ 2 - 3 hit kill
+ fast bullets
+ fast reload
- alot of movement inaccuracy

i cant decide, but i would probably choose ruger, cause its faster, less bink, quicker reload, and in the right hands it can be a very potent weapon.

Barret defending with law(so i can still half snipe with bink), Ruger attacking with soccom (same point as before...bink)

Barret. Although bink can be quite aggravating, causing you to miss a lot, I love the Barret. I'm getting better wiht it everyday... I was doing good with it today in Inf Outpost, possibly my favorite Barret map. =D

Ruger. It's kill in two about 75% of the time for me. I've gotten used to aiming just above the head, where the top hat is located. Barrett is too risky, as I don't camp. One shot and you either run or switch to USSOCOM, by which you'll have already lost 50% of your health.

Ah, but that's the thing, you don't use Barret in a crowded area.

It's great in maps like Ctf Run, DM Shau, Inf Outpost, and other large maps because there's room to escape and shoot.

If you can hit the first or second shot with ruger the barreter is dead. If you cant, you are.

Barret:

+Zoom
-Long as time itsself fire rate and reload time
-If miss shot, your screwed
-Start up time
Ruger:
+Quick fire rate
+No start up
+2-3 shot kills
-inaccurate unless camping

I like both, but would take the Ruger over the Barret if given the choice in advanced mode. However, it also depends on the map and type of game. If it's zombie, I love to just sit on some ridge and snipe the undead (and retarded) masses. However, if it's a really small map, the Barret is almost useless.

I really like the Ruger, i use that alot when im guarding a tunnel or in a bush. In some situations i wish it had a scope/zoom like the Barret. And sometimes i get carried away with reloading (With the Ruger its fun, for me anyway.)

My problem with the Barret is the slow ROF and inaccuracy if you miss or are trying to kill multiple enemies (I have problems with people shooting up my snipers nest with M79s.)

This would be true if people were affected by the Barret's "delay" and had to wait to fire. Too many people use that instant firing Barret technique, so you'll still stuck with a Barret having more or less all the advantages of a Ruger on that first bullet along with it being a one-hit kill weapon.

Haha, Foxtrot, I know what you mean! If I have any extra time, i always reload.

Anyway, I use the Ruger way more, because frankly, I love playing with it. But facing kids with guns? I mean- people with autos? not good. I've found it especially stinks against the Steyr.

But the Barret is definitely better for camping, no doubt. And with zoom? yeah. But the Ruger is way handy while going around, like in larger maps/maps with less people, and with CTF. It's just dang fun!

ruger sounds better:
reload is nice
damage is good
weaponspeed is great
no startuptime
not a lot of movement bink
fast interval.

better than barrett

Neither is better.
The only difference is whether the player is better or not.
